ALL ABOUT THE CHARACTER
Full Name: Angelina Gweneth Johnson
Nicknames: Ang, Angie, Lina, Johnson, Angel (ha!)
Age:17
Birthday: Oct. 25, 1977
House/Year: 7th / Gryffindor
Occupation:Student, "future badass pro quidditch player" (according to Angie)
Sexuality: Straight
Immediate Family: Angelina's birth parents, Marissa and Colin Andersen, were killed in the crossfire of an attack during the first war despite their relatively pure blood and neutral standing. Angelina doesn't know this. She just knows that her parents died when she was two years old.
Her adoptive parents are:
Alexandra and Daniel Johnson. Alexanda is a stay at home mom who couldn't have kids of her own. Daniel is a retired Chaser for the Falmouth Falcons and former English National Team player. She has no brothers or sisters, and no other biological family still alive.
She has one adoptive brother, he's two years older and is named Chance.
Marital Status: Single
Blood Status:Pure, except for her grandfather on her dad's side, who was a halfblood. Her adoptive parents are both halfbloods.
Loyalty/Alliance: She supports the Order, and since she's pureish, will have no master.
Role in the war: She doesn't have one yet, but she leans toward the beliefs of the Order. She's also a DA member

Appearance: Angelina's pretty enough. At least, that's what she thinks about herself most of the time. She's never been overly pleased or displeased with her appearance; it just is what it is. She's one of the girls that looks good rolling out of bed in the morning, which is a very good thing since she rarely puts any effort into getting all 'tarted up.' Half the time she just wears her Quidditch boots everywhere. They're comfortable, they get her around, and she sees absolutely no reason to wear anything else unless she's been invited clubbing or something. She does have a secret love of high heels, but she's afraid wearing those too often would totally ruin her image as the girl who doesn't give a damn. She really doesn't want to be mistaken for someone who cares how she looks! Her hair is long, mainly because she can't be bothered to get it cut. Maybe someday. Instead, she just normally wears it in a ponytail or braids. It's easier than trying to fix it. She's got a thin frame, but not a breakable one. She's got enough muscle on her from Quidditch to hold her own. She's also very proud of her "battle scars" from the game. You should ask her about them sometime. No, really, ask.

Desired PB: Amber Stevens ( here ) I don't have anyone else in mind at the moment, but if y'all don't like Amber, i can look again.
Personality: LOUD. Angelina has lots to say and isn't afraid to say it. The girl has been a troublemaker from day one, and she's not afraid of the consequences of her actions. Detention: So what? Bad marks: Who cares? But threaten to ban her from Quidditch, and you've got a very apologetic Angelina. She'll take care of her friends without fail. She might drive them nuts playing jokes on them and causing problems that get them in trouble as well, but they can rest assured that she will never hang them out to dry or let anyone talk crap about them. She's in constant motion, almost as if she's afraid to slow down. She hardly ever sleeps, staying up late nights and waking up early in the mornings for quidditch practice, and yet her energy level never suffers. You won't catch her sitting still. If she's not stuck in class, she's with her mates, doing somethng she's not supposed to, or flying. She's also an avid runner, and tries to get out of the school for at least a 5K run every day. She has a temper on her that's actually impressive. She can go from having fun to pissed off in one second flat, and good luck calming her down. She can stay mad. She'll argue about anything, just because she can. She's also got one ambition in her life: to play pro Quidditch. If you're on the Gryffindor team, there are days that you'll hate her. As a Captain, she's organized, she's driven, and she wants the team to succeed no matter what. Practices are intense and she expects everyone else to be as serious about the game as she is, which is simply impossible. Outside of practice she's a lot easier to deal with, to say the least.

History: Angelina was born the week before Halloween to a loving couple. She was the first child the 30-something Colin and Marissa had been able to have, despite years of trying. As a result, Angelina was never lacking for love throughout the two years of her life that her birth parents were still around. She doesn't remember much about them at all, just what they looked like from a couple of pictures she has. They were killed in 1979 during a battle between the two sides of the war. It's unclear which side's wands were responsible. Angelina has no idea how her mother and father died, just that they did, and it changed the course of her life.

She was put in the care of the UK Wizarding Children's Home, where she spent a handful of months after her parents' death. It didn't take long for a cute toddler to find a foster home, and she remained with a family that seemed as if they would adopt her until she was five. At that point, the couple was able to conceive on their own and decided they didn't want a child that wasn't theres. Angelina, still too young to really understand, was taken back to the children's home. She was never an easy child to deal with, and after that rejection, she grew even more unruly. Her next two foster homes lasted less than a year apiece. As a seven-year-old child by that point, her chances of adoption were growing slimmer and slimmer. One more determined foster home put up with her for two years before deciding that they simply couldn't handle her antics and energy level. Nine years old, she was returned to the home, fairly certain that she'd never get another family.

And then Daniel and Alexandra came in. They had served as a foster home for two children who had just graduated from Hogwarts. Daniel was a professional Quidditch player for the Falcons and Alexandra wanted to spend her time taking care of children while working from home. They intended to adopt a younger child, but when Daniel saw Angelina flying on a worn-out broom out behind the oprhanage, he fell in love. After spending a few weeks coming by and talking to her, Daniel and Alexandra adopted her. They were the first family she found that didn't want to "try out" foster care first. They wanted to take her, flaws and all.

Daniel taught her how to play Quidditch and took her to his pro team practices whenever she wanted. She sat in the stands, learning strategy and plays as well as tricks to make the game go her way. At home, they were always in the back yard flying. Her inner city London accent didn't match with the northern English accent that Daniel and Alexandra spoke with, her parents were white and she was black, but seeing she and her father together on the pitch, no one would assume they were anything but family.

Time to go to Hogwarts was bittersweet for the eleven-year-old. She'd only had a real family for three years, and she was reluctant to leave them behind. Once she arrived at the school, however, all of her fears melted away. While other children were homesick, she was used to being independent, and while she wrote her mum and dad every week, she was definitely settling in well. She made friends in her year and house without much effort at all, and whle there were students who felt that she came on 'too strong' and that she was just asking for trouble (they were right), others didn't care that she was a little bit crazy. In fact, they thought she was fun.

When second year came round, she was eager to try out for the Quidditch team. After seeing her fly, there was no question that she'd be picked. After the game was added in, her marks suffered even more than they had her first year. She wasn't academically inclined, and never would be, but it finally took Daniel and Alexandra threatening to make her quit the team her fourth year to urge her to buckle down at least a little bit. About a thousand detentions later, she took her owls. Her marks were less-than-stellar, to say the least. She didn't get very many OWLS at all, and certainly not any in Potions or the "boring" classes like "History of Magic" or "Charms."

Now, her seventh year, NEWTs are coming up. You wouldn't know it by looking at her, though. Quidditch is the only thing on her mind. She's fairly certain that to get a spot on a professional team, she doesn't need to get any NEWTs at all. She just has to prove she can play and that she's worth their time to train. That's her goal for the year, not to get good marks! It's to play brilliant Quidditch and make Umbridge's life miserable! She knows she'll have to study eventually, but right now... the pitch is calling.

THE WRITING

First Person:
I have detention again. Of course, I'm innocent of all charges. I would never ever dare to charm Flitwick's chalk to write nasty words on the board. That would be rude and wrong and certainly against the rules, and everyone knows that I have the utmost respect for regulations. They don't believe me, though. The powers that be are convinced that I am the guilty party, and as such my sentence has been handed down. It looks like I won't be making it to dinner tonight, guys. Wish me luck surviving my fearsome punishment!

[Private: Twins]
It was hilarious. Did you see what he wrote when he was starting the notes for the class? "The Skrewt-fucking arsemunch was a shiteface." I nearly died. Flitwick turned SO red.

Save me some food, will you? I would hate to starve!

Third Person:

Angelina was in detention. Again. She was pretty sure she was supposed to be working on the essay she'd neglected to turn in next week. Actually, she'd turned it in, but the required length was thirty centimeters and she'd turned in six. "Inadequate, See me" had been scrawled across the top in McGonagalls handwriting. She was good at transfiguration. It was probably her best class. She got good marks in it without trying, and she really didn't understand what the purpose of writing a paper on the theory of transfiguration was when she could actually apply the knowledge. Still, it wasn't that she was upset for getting detention. She knew she deserve it. She was just bored out of her mind.

When the professor called out her name and asked her to get back to work, Angelina lifted her head from the desk and stared at the few random sentences she had scribbled on the parchemnt. Her gaze drifted toward the window, where she could almost make out the Quidditch pitch. She wanted to be doing something. Flying, really. That would be the best. But first, she had to write this stupid paper.

Inking her quill, Angelina put ink to paper in an attempt to escape.
